From Burnt Out to Booked Out — My Story

Hi, I’m Giang Brooke, and I help salon owners transform their business, their team, and their lifestyle.

But it didn’t start this way.

At 19 years old, I opened my first salon in Vietnam. I worked with celebrities, styled for TV, and ran a successful salon. But behind the scenes, I was undervaluing my work, constantly discounting services, and sacrificing my time to please everyone.

Then I moved to Australia—and I had to start over from zero.

I worked in 3 different salons where clients often said, “Pardon? What did you say?” I struggled with communication, confidence, and culture shock.

So I created my first system:

The Turning Point: My Son, My Why

I was working 60+ hours a week, trying to survive and succeed. Then one day, my son looked at me and said:
“Mum, I hate school. I don’t want to go.”

I realized I was so burnt out, I couldn’t even show up for my own child.
That broke me.
And it rebuilt me.

I made a decision:
👉 I would build a business that gave me freedom, flexibility, and fulfillment.

Within 6 months:
✔ I raised my prices to $150/hour
✔ I was fully booked 3 months in advance
✔ I was working 3 days a week
✔ My clients were referring friends non-stop
✔ And most importantly—I had time for my family
